वीर सावरकर को लेकर दिए गए कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी के बयान के बाद महाराष्ट्र की सियासत गरमा गई है. शिवसेना नेता संजय राउत ने कहा कि हम नेहरू और गांधी का सम्मान करते हैं, उन्हें सावरकर का अपमान नहीं करना चाहिए. नेहरू-गांधी की तरह सावरकर ने भी देश के लिए अहम योगदान दिया है. वहीं वीर सावरकर के पोते रंजीत सावरकर ने रविवार को कहा कि इस मुद्दे पर मैं महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे से मुलाकात करूंगा. रंजीत सावरकर ने राहुल गांधी के खिलाफ मानहानि केस करने की बात कही है.
बता दें, कांग्रेस सांसद राहुल गांधी ने शनिवार को दिल्ली के रामलीला मैदान में एक रैली में कहा था कि महिला सुरक्षा के मुद्दे पर लेकर दिए गए अपने बयान पर वो माफी नहीं मांगेंगे. राहुल ने अपने बयान में विनायक दामोदर सावरकर का जिक्र किया था और कहा था कि उनका नाम राहुल सावरकर नहीं है और वे मर जाएंगे फिर भी माफी नहीं मांगेंगे.
राहुल के इस बयान के बाद बीजेपी लगातार उन पर हमलावर है और इसे सावरकर का अपमान बता रही है. इसी मुद्दे पर पूर्व सीएम देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने शिवसेना पर हमला किया है. फडणवीस ने कहा है कि पहले शिवसेना सावरकर से जुड़े मुद्दे पर तीखी प्रतिक्रिया देती थी और उनका बचाव करती थी, लेकिन हम शिवसेना नरम क्यों हो गई है. फडणवीस ने कहा कि ये एक ऐसा सवाल है जिसका जवाब वो शिवसेना से जानना चाहेंगे.
