पॉलिटॉक्स ब्यूरो. सोमवार देर रात नागरिकता संशोधन बिल लोकसभा से पास हो गया. इस बिल का असम से लेकर बंगाल तक और देश की राजधानी दिल्ली में सबसे ज्यादा विरोध देखने को मिल रहा है. असम में नॉर्थ ईस्ट स्टूडेंट्स ऑर्गनाइजेशन और ऑल असम स्टूडेंट यूनियन ने आज सुबह 5 बजे से शाम 5 बजे तक 12 घंटे का बंद बुलाया है. NESO को कई संगठनों और राजनीतिक दलों का समर्थन हासिल है. बन्द के चलते गुवाहाटी सहित कई यूनिवर्सिटी में होने वाली विभिन्न परीक्षाएं स्थगित कर दी गई हैं.
क्या देश स्वीकार कर पाएगा नागरिक संशोधन बिल ?
देखने वाली बात यह है कि कुछ राजनीतिक दलों ही द्वारा किया जा रहा CAB का विरोध, आखिर क्यों सिर्फ असम में सबसे ज्यादा खुलकर लोग कर रहे CAB का विरोध ? आज सुबह से ही कई स्थानों पर आगजनी और विरोध प्रदर्शन की घटनाएं शुरू हो गई हैं. यहां शरणार्थियों को नागरिकता देने का हो रहा है विरोध, क्योंकि यहां के लोगों को इस बिल से अपनी पहचान खतरे में नजर आ रही है.
गौरतलब है कि कल देर रात केन्द्र सरकार भारी विरोध के बावजूद 311 मतों से इस बिल को पास करवा लिया है, अब इसे बुधवार को राज्यसभा में पेश किया जाएगा. इसके अलावा कल अमित शाह ने यह भी साफ कर दिया है कि इसके बाद NRC को भी लाकर रहेंगे.
